Epic Time in Marseille
Marseille, April 17 – May 5, 2025 – It was an epic time indeed as the Norwegian Epic entered dry dock in Marseille for a major refurbishment, Advanced Resin Flooring was proud to play a central role in this transformative project.
Over the course of nearly three weeks, our dedicated team of 26 highly skilled technicians took on an ambitious scope: installing over 2,500 square meters of marine-grade resin flooring. From custom imitation teak and design flooring in the main pool wading areas to the installation of more than 200 prefabricated resin components, the work was intense, detailed, and rewarding.
Prefabricated resin parts are a game changer in the marine refurbishment industry. Given the complexity and craftsmanship involved, the relatively recent adoption of this technique results in there been few companies equipped with the knowledge and skill to do it right. At Advanced Resin Flooring, our team continues to set the standard, offering expertise that simplifies even the most technically challenging projects.
We were pleased to once again collaborate with Herculan B.V., our trusted supplier from the Netherlands. With over 30 years of experience in producing high-quality resin products for international markets, Herculan’s systems have proven their value time and again and again performed exceptionally well aboard the Epic.
This project not only enhanced the onboard experience for future holiday makers but also strengthened our client’s confidence in our capabilities. More importantly, it reaffirmed our position as a go-to partner in the marine sector and paved the way for exciting projects on the horizon.
